I'm Laura, a licensed massage therapist and Reiki practitioner based in Amesbury, MA and I believe that feeling better in your body shouldn't be a luxury. At Golden Oak Massage & Wellness, I work with people who are living with chronic pain, recovering from surgery, or simply carrying too much — in their muscles, their joints, and their nervous system. My clients are mostly women and older adults who are done pushing through and ready to actually feel relief. My approach is therapeutic and intuitive. I draw on myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish massage, and Reiki to meet your body where it is, not where I think it should be. I work gently and deliberately, with deep respect for your nervous system and your comfort. I became a licensed therapist in 2023 and have spent every year since building a practice rooted in trust, consistency, and genuine care. I know firsthand what it means to need support and not always have it — and that shapes how I show up for every person who walks through my door. Reservation Policy: To ensure the provision of our highest level of personalized care, we operate exclusively by reservation. Cancellation Policy: Advance Cancellation: Reservations canceled more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time will receive a full refund. Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-Show: Failure to attend a scheduled reservation will result in a charge equivalent to the full session fee. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Should you need to reschedule your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible to allow us the opportunity to accommodate another client. Occasionally, our practitioners may need to reschedule reservations due to unforeseen events, such as illness. We commit to providing as much advance notice as possible for any necessary changes.
